Located in the very neighbourhood of Bordeaux, and only one hour drive from the Atlantic coast and its beautiful sandy beaches (Arcachon, Le Cap Ferret, Lacanau ocean, etc...), the " Castel " is a luxurious property was built on the top of a hill, in the tiny country village of Saint-Caprais de Bordeaux.

Twenty minutes from the Merignac International Airport and from the railways station and ten minutes from the free highway, you can enjoy all the outdoor pastimes its ideal location offers to you, or you can just enjoy the comfort of an exceptional location and the beauty and tranquillity of the surroundings.

A short ride of the village, a huge selection of towns and villages are of great historical interest, such as Rions, Saint-Macaire, Cadillac, ... (medieval fortified cities), La Réole, Langon, Sauveterre, Saint Emilion, Sainte Croix du Mont, (well-known for their wine) etc...

Golfing, 4 horse riding complexes, hiking paths, etc... are available from the village

An exhaustive folder of local events, places of historical interest, old churches, calvarias, wine châteaux, pedestrian paths maps, will be provided at your arrival.

Just behind the "Petit Château", guests can find two tennis courts, a football field and a skateboard pist.

A nice garden, with 12x5 (meters) swimming-pool, garden furniture, a barbecue and a ping pong table will help you to enjoy your stay during the warm summer vacation...

All around Saint Caprais, many excellent restaurants offer local specialities.

The " Petit Château " has been completely renovated to enhance the original stonework. The roof, made of three really quiet solarium terraces where you will take sunbaths or have evening drinks, offers a marvellous point of view on the surrounding landscapes, several castles, and the Garonne valley.

The " Petit Château" is nicely furnished and offers modern facilities and equipment. It can accommodate 2-14 people.

The ground floor is composed by three very nice bedrooms furnished in ancient style, a bathroom, toilets, a utility room, and a veranda.

The first floor offers a large dining room with a fire place, a spacious lounge with all facilities (TV, Hi Fi, french books...). The fully fitted modern kitchen which includes a snack bar, is very well equiped with an electric cooker, a microwave, a freezer, a fridge, a dishwasher.

The utility room provides an automatic washing machine and a drying machine.

A very old stone staircase leads to the second floor where you will find three bedrooms decorated and furnished in different styles.

The main one has a king size double bed, a dressing room, a nice bathroom and separated toilets are attached.

The second bedroom is of good size and contains two double beds.

The third bedroom has a double bed and is old style furnished.

A fourth room has a single bed.

Another complete bathroom is composed with a bath, a shower, a washbasin and toilets.>
